Chances are, if you’re reading this, your Sony camera has an inconveniently placed record button (seriously, why Sony???). So, let’s cut to the chase on how to fix it:
- Hit the menu button
- Navigate to the 2nd “tab” (slightly different for some cameras
- Navigate to page 8 (again, may be slightly different)
- Open up custom key settings
- Select a “key” and then rebind it to “MOVIE”
You can choose any key, but I personally chose the “trash” button as I found it the most convenient. If you want to learn more about custom buttons in general, check out my full guide.
